Looking for a covers band for a wedding, a support act for your gig, or just curious what's out there in your genre nearby? There's currently no way to search across bands on Bandhamster at all. Every band's site is its own island.
The directory turns that into an actual search: filter by genre, location, availability, covers or originals, and get real results instead of a Google search that mostly turns up Facebook pages from three years ago.
Planned, not built yet. Like the gig guide, it gets genuinely useful in direct proportion to how many bands are actually on Bandhamster with their details current, which the free tools already live today are quietly building toward.
