Help
Getting your band online, and answers to the questions we hear most.
Getting started
Four steps from nothing to a site you can share:
- 1Create your account and tell us about the band: name, where you play, your sound.
- 2Pick a look. Every theme is built to look designed, not generated. You can make it yours.
- 3Add your details: bio, line-up, songs, gigs, photos and a track or two.
- 4Share your link. Put yourbandname.bandhamster.com everywhere bookers and fans will see it.
Ready? Create your site.
Common questions
Is it just a website?
No. The public site is one half. Behind it is Backstage, where the whole band manages gigs, booking enquiries and who is free to play.
Do I need any tech skills?
None. Pick a look, fill in your details and share the link. If you can use Instagram, you can do this.
How do booking enquiries work?
Your site has an enquiry form. A message lands in your Backstage inbox (and emails you), and you reply, set a status and track the booking from there.
How does member availability work?
Each member marks the dates they can play. When an enquiry comes in, you can see at a glance who is free for that date, so you answer with confidence.
Can I add other band members?
Yes. Invite them by email from the Members page; they get their own login to help manage the site, gigs and availability.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro. You can search, buy and connect a domain without leaving the site, and you can always transfer it out. We never trap your domain.
What does it cost?
Free to start, then around £10 a month for the full toolkit. Your own domain comes in on the Pro tier. See the pricing on the homepage.
How do I delete my account and data?
From the account menu (top right of the dashboard), choose Delete account. It permanently removes your bands, sites, uploads and data. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data and your other rights.
