The Non Starters
The Non Starters are a Hertfordshire-based punk covers band. Pistols, Clash, Ramones, Damned: the classics, played fast and loud and with everything we've got. But here's where it gets interesting: every song gets the punk treatment. Every. Single. One. That means Abba. Taylor Swift. Dolly Parton. Whatever you loved growing up, we'll play it, and we'll play it with significantly more distortion than the original intended. Formed from the wreckage of failed side projects and a shared conviction that most songs are improved by a Marshall stack and a bad attitude, we've been making Hertfordshire's pub-goers question their taste in music since 2025. We play pubs, clubs, basements and anywhere else that'll have us. Enquiries welcome.

You don't need to be a trained singer. You need attitude, energy and the bottle to get up there and mean it. Snarl over a tune, hold a crowd, don't bottle it. If you can do that, you'll do.
Rehearsals are local and regular, and there's real gig money once you're up to speed. Past experience optional, giving a toss essential. Send us a message with a bit about yourself and a clip if you've got one. No clip, no worries, come down and have a go.
