The Recollections

The Recollections are a five-piece function band based in Nash, Buckinghamshire, playing bubblegum pop and psychedelic classics from the 1960s and 70s. Four lead vocalists trade off over a jangly 12-string guitar, melodic bass and harmonica, with tambourine, cajon and cabasa driving the rhythm, stacking up three- and four-part vocal harmonies. The set runs deep: The Beatles, The Bee Gees, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, ABBA, The Kinks, The Archies, The Mamas & the Papas, Dusty Springfield, Sandie Shaw and The Monkees all feature, played across two one-hour live sets with recorded playback through the interval. The band brings its own PAT-tested, insured sound and lighting, and plays weddings, private parties, corporate events, pubs and festivals in and around Milton Keynes.
